There weren’t as many updates when the companies had to send you a disc so you could install the “patch” yourself.

When did “patch” morph into “update”? I guess its better than changing the definition.

Bring back the floppy discs! Analog solution to a digital problem.

As for digitization of everything, I am against it.

When TV went digital, I knew a lot was afoot. First, my digital signal is weaker and less efficient than my analog signal (or at least the results are not as good). Second, I see zero advantage for me, I really don’t care to see the abundance of wrinkles or the thick application of makeup on Nancy Pelosi and Mitch McConnell. Thirdly, we continue to upgrade communications and we are the crossroads of 5g. I see nothing in the way of better results or anything new except that our current suppliers can’t keep up with technology that they pressed so hard to get.

Now we are looking at 10g, which like 5g, will only assist big, huge businesses along with government and not the public (who finance this stuff).

“Progress” is optional, we lost manufacturing due to “progress”, we lost Customer Service to cheap labor, we now support semiconductor manufacturing after we sent manufacturing overseas.

This is nothing more than laundering money, our tax dollars, in a closed system. Next, will be digital money and I am sure NOTHING could or will go wrong with that choice.
