They had some solid, durable music. Much has been justly forgotten. It’s a shame that Beetlemania drove them from the stage. In many ways they were a better live band, and being confined to Abbey Road with all that time and money led to some self-indulgence.

Funny enough all their later albums are my favorite of theirs. Abbey Road is incredible.
