There's a british cooking youtube channel (sorted) and they DO have an app (a bit 'fresh' style in terms of recipes) for meal planning, and the BEST thing is that they take into account how quickly produce go bad. so they will have you use up your bananas at the beginning of the week, and keep one until saturday when you make pancakes using mushed banana instead of eggs. I think it's genius. yet sometimes Uber is just what you need. ngl.

I am a firm believer in doubling the size of whatever you are cooking (soup for six, party sized chicken parm, etc) but the trick is to immediately wrap and freeze individual portions or you'll end up eating much more than you know is humanly healthy. Tupperware is your friend.

It took me a year to indoctrinate my girlfriend into the cult of Tupperware. Our main issue is we don’t have the freezer space for long-term meal prepping or even Costco runs. We do HelloFresh for now but once we get a bigger place this is definitely the move.
